Stimulus was born out of the realisation that there was a real need for a resource dedicated to helping and supporting women achieve healthy and fulfilling sex lives, to promote positive sex messages, educate, inform and support.

 

Angela recognised the impact that unhealthy sex can have on your quality of life and that awareness and education are the first steps in addressing change and making improvements.

 

Stimulus is the vision of Angela Birch - a trainer, consultant and counsellor she has over 20 years experience of working with women. Angela knows good sex…but perhaps fundamentally she’s also well aware of what constitutes bad sex. Not only is she a trained counsellor and expert in teenage pregnancy, sexual health and contraception but her personal journey has given her first hand knowledge of the problems preventing countless women from achieving a satisfying sex life. more

 

Amanda Middleton

Amanda Middleton was born and raised in New Zealand Amanda moved to the UK in 2005.

 

When it comes to modern sexual culture and contemporary trends there is next to nothing that Amanda’s not clued up about. She has dissected the book, analysed the DVD and made her own iconic T-shirt. Counseling and supporting people on sexuality issues, training professionals and her academic studies – means she has an amazing knowledge and experiential credentials. more

 

Rachel Foux

From guiding groups around London to guiding couples in the bedroom, Rachel has over two decades of experience of working in the thrust of public life, originally as a Blue Badge Guide and teacher and recently as a multi discipline Therapist and Writer. From early in her career, Rachel recognised that she has a great passion to get to know and understand people, particularly with regard to their sexual views and values. This natural enthusiasm and ease with her subject, continues to fuel her daily work. She is an imaginative sexual educator, who can bring humour to even the most challenging of situations. more
